Though I have been enjoying the mild winter we’ve been having immensely, part of me was feeling a mild sense of discomfort and worry about what the long-term impact of this weather might be. Yesterday I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the snow-free landscapes at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, but it felt much more familiar and right somehow to see a snow covered world outside my windows this morning. But today I am enjoying the beautiful snow covered world, fleeting though it may be. And I’m also remembering how it looked yesterday before the snow fell.

Did you also sigh with relief when you saw the snow covered world this morning? Soak up the beauty of the snow while it lasts my friends.

May you walk in beauty.
