Early this week I bought a bunch of sticks that were labeled “Blooming Branches.” Really, they looked like sticks with buds. I wasn’t sure whether the buds would bloom or just fall off the branches but I was curious so I bought them and brought them home.

Why?

Possibilities…

Each day I played with the possibilities these branches contained. At first I noticed the graceful curve of some of the branches.

Then, ever so slowly the buds began to open…

Until the flowers burst open on all the branches.

Each time I walk by I see something different and I make a few images.

Sometimes I get up close and photograph a single flower.

Other times I notice a particular group of blossoms that feel particularly beautiful and graceful.

These flowers remind me that life contains many possibilities. The current worldwide pandemic contains positive as well as negative possibilities. If we choose light and love over selfishness and fear, who knows what can happen.

To raise new questions, new possibilities, to regard old problems from a new angle, requires creative imagination and marks real advance in science. — Albert Einstein

Lovely Possibilities for You to Explore

“Individuals who choose to love can and do alter our lives in ways that honor the primacy of a love ethic. We do this by choosing to work with individuals we admire and respect; by committing to give our all to relationships; by embracing a global vision wherein we see our lives and our fate as intimately connected to those of everyone else on the planet. Commitment to a love ethic transforms our lives by offering us a different set of values to live by. In large and small ways, we make choices based on a belief that honesty, openness, and personal integrity need to be expressed in public and private decisions.”

May you feel luminous possibilities in you life.

May you walk in beauty.
