Quote of the day:

There are only two ways to live your life.
One, as though nothing is a miracle.
The other is, as though everything is a miracle.

Crocus Flowers Blooming

I’m sharing a few ordinary miracles from my own back yard today.  Noticing such ordinary miracles and feeling gratitude for them, makes me happy.

Just a few days ago a late spring snowstorm covered everything in sight with snow. Yesterday the first crocus bloomed. Tomorrow the snowdrops will burst open their buds. That’s an “ordinary miracle” in my opinion.

Yesterday was ice out day on the pond behind the house. Today I caught sight of 4 turtles sunning on the log at the edge of the pond. Every time I get to see turtles sunning on the log I think it’s a miracle! I love watching them.

Watch for ordinary miracles. They’re all around you! You just need to look for them.

Bonus flowers – I didn’t plant these but so appreciate their beauty!

Exceptionally Tame Turtle – didn’t jump until I was within 3 feet of the edge of the pond
