Quote of the day: “A sense of blessedness comes from a change of heart, not from more blessings.” —Mason Cooley

The Photographer

Here’s my little bliss list for this week:

  1. Gracie the cat investigating my photography setup in the dining room – made me laugh out loud!
  2. A $3.99 bouquet of tulips from Trader Joe’s that has provided hours of photography entertainment and practice
  3. HandmadeMN Etsy team meeting on Sunday. I learned a lot and it was fun to see fellow artists face-to-face
  4. Seeing the sunrise three days in a row-aahhhh…beauty
  5. Feeling good and doing more aerobic exercise – fun!
  6. Friends and family – feeling quite blessed by all of those who show up in my life each week
  7. Martha Beck’s latest book, Finding Your Way in a Wild New World, which I loved, loved, loved.  It spoke to the way I am attempting to live my life and gave me new tools to work with.
  8. Sitting here at my desk right now and breathing—life is good!

Thanks to Liv Lane Choosing Beauty, “The Little Bliss List” for reminding all of us to count our blessings regularly.

Hi,
Nice week and awesome pictures. Your flower just illuminated my eyes (probably sounds weird in English, but that’s OK ;-)).
Greetings from France.

Gorgeous flower. Loved the photo of your cat. Kitties are so entertaining! You have a studio partner! I love tulips … they make me smile and are a great gift to give yourself. Exercise, seeing a friend, a good book … sounds like yours was a bliss filled week!

Gracie, the cat is indeed a great studio partner, full of purrs and play. And it was a great week!

I adore your bliss list this week. Cats are so curious – mine probably would have jumped by the flowers to have a smell. Your photographs are delicious – I love how you see the world.

Thank you so much! Gracie (my cat) has knocked over way too many vases in her curiousity.

My cat also likes to be right in the room where I am working – either the computer, or at my work table for jewelry making and especially when I am knitting. She thinks that is her play time. Love the picture of your cat and camera.

Thanks. Gracie likes to be right in the thick of things also. If I have the laptop in my lap, she wants to be there too. It sometimes leads to interesting ways to work on the laptop.
