Quote of the day: “Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” – Howard Thurman

A Happy Accident - Long Exposure, Moving Vehicle, Moving Camera

Yesterday I got an email from one of my Etsy customers, saying that my photo “Lovingkindness barn” on my Etsy website (http://www.etsy.com/listing/81987393/on-sale-fine-art-photograph-loving ) was her uncle’s barn.  What a small world it is!  I loved that barn the first time I saw it and thought that whoever lived there surely was doing what he or she loved.  Turns out he’s an artist and sells paintings and sculptures.

Here’s a wide view of the barn – you can see a few sculptures on either side of the barn.

Today, I challenge you to ask yourself, “What makes me come alive?” and then find a way to do it, even if it’s only for 5 minutes.

‘A Happy Accident’ reminds me of all the realms we travel upon. Everytime I see a picture like that my mind travels much further beyond a moving car and camera. That’s the unique wonders of art!!
