Of people and portraits

Quote of the day: “Every portrait that is painted with feeling is a portrait of the artist, not of the sitter.” — Oscar Wilde Yesterday I attended the first day of a 2-day workshop called, “The Intimate Portrait.” The workshop is taught by Michael Crouser at the Mpls Photo Center. It was an excellent workshop. We started the day looking at portraits by different photographers and talking about the elements that each used to create their own personal style.
