We went for another drive through today (advance ticket reservations available online only if you decide to go). The cool week means everything that was in bloom Monday when we were there, was still in bloom today. Despite simply driving through with my camera I’m still in an

Arboretum Daze

“What a strange thing!
to be alive
beneath cherry blossoms.”
Kobayashi Issa, Poems

Simply being among the trees, bushes, and flowers of this wonderful resource brings me joy. I hope that some of you have the opportunity to visit the Landscape Arboretum soon and experience your own Arboretum Daze. Or go for a walk in a nearby park.

Soak up the springtime

and let yourself be astonished by the beauty of it all.

“She turned to the sunlight
    And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbor:
    “Winter is dead.”
A.A. Milne,
When We Were Very Young

May you walk in beauty.
