December Reflections 2018 — Day 10

The prompt for December Reflections 2018 for day 10 is Biggest Challenge in 2018.

I knew I was living a blessed and privileged life when the 2 biggest challenges I could think of in my life this year were the very long winter last year and early winter this year, and the hip pain that I’ve been struggling with for the past few months.

I know that there are many who are grieving the loss of someone, fighting cancer of other deadly diseases, don’t have enough to eat, don’t have a home, and worse. I didn’t realize that thinking about my biggest challenge would fill me with this much gratitude for the grace and joy of my life, but it did.
