The #AprilLove2018 word for today is SMILE. I chose to think about what makes me smile. Here is my list:
Purring cat in my lap

Children laughing
My husband’s silly puns (shhh, don’t tell him or the puns will never end!)
Tiny wildflowers in bloom
A seed sprouting
Warm bath on a cold night
Cool shower on a hot day
My morning cup of Darjeeling tea
A tiny bite of dark chocolate
Reading a good book—even ones that make me cry
Thinking about springtime
Make photographs with my camera
Birds flying high overhead
Full moon shining brightly
Sound of our grandchildren bursting into the house full of energy
Walking in the woods
Looking up at treetops
Dancing all by myself in the living room

Baby’s toes
Fresh black raspberries from my garden
Color of the sky
Canoeing up north
Hummingbirds, butterflies, and dragonflies
Being alive now, this very minute!
