reflection

This is an image I made last fall. I love how the reflection of the trees mixes with the weeds flowing with the current of Minnehaha Creek in Big Willow Park. For me it creates a Monet-like watercolor image.

Last week before our most recent snowfall I took a hike at Big Willow Park. The reflections then looked quite different as there is no green to be seen yet this spring.

I am looking forward to watching the green emerge here in Minneapolis and hoping that we will soon see the first signs of spring.

May you walk in beauty.

Both are wonderful shots but your first photo does look like a Monet painting. Very cool.

What a lovely photo with the green and gold tones, and such a sense of movement.

Thanks Kathy. I’m waiting for spring to bring on the green again soon.
