Icicle Sculptures

It’s a gray day, again, but I am celebrating no new snow (which our neighbors in southeastern Minnesota got a lot of last night and today). Icicles hang from the wooden posts in front of the house, creating different sculptures with each thaw and freeze cycle.

It is hard to imagine spring when I look out the window but then I notice open ground where before snow covered everything in sight. The trees and grass will be waking soon.
