Quote of the day: ““Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.”
― Bil Keane
Signs of Spring I Saw Today
- Rain! Yes, rain, NOT SNOW, is falling in Minneapolis today. (It may turn to snow later, but right now, this minute, it’s rain!)
- The Minnesota shuffle (you know, when you’re not sure how slippery it is underfoot, so you shuffle your feet along the ground to keep from slipping on the ice)
- Buds on a tree in the neighborhood
- Green grass peeking through the snow
- Drooping snowman
- Slushy, mushy, melting snow
What brought me Joy This Morning
- Colors – yes COLORS – Usually I see this time of year as grey and white, but today I noticed bright spots of color all around me. Oh JOY!
- Wearing my sweet and ever-loving husband’s hat on my photo walk
- Doing the Minnesota shuffle (see #2 above)
- Wonderful droopy snowman – feels like a prayer, like bowing down and giving thanks
- Thinking about how amazing the life force is
