Quote of the day: “If you ask me what I came to do in this world, I, an artist, will answer you: I am here to live out loud.” ― Émile Zola

Creativity through Painting

Painting by Pamela Petersen, Inspired by One of my Photographs

A few months ago an artist who had seen my photographs in my Etsy store, contacted me and wanted to make a painting using one of the photos as her inspiration. I thought, “What a lovely idea!”

She completed the painting recently and posted a photo of it on my Facebook timeline. I love her painting. It expresses her creativity and unique point of view. I love my original photo too. It expresses my creativity and viewpoint.

Art is big enough for many different expressions and  points of view. Each of us is an artist in the way that we live our lives and express ourselves in the world. And each expression is unique and inspired by the original spark of creativity that manifested our universe.

If you are alive, you are an artist. Express your unique spark today and every day, or the world will miss out on what you have to bring and that would be a shame.
