Quote of the day: “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” ― Pablo Picasso
This August I participated in Kat Sloma’s Liberate Your Art 2012 Postcard Swap. To take part, I created postcards with my art (photos with quotations) and sent 6 postcards, address labels addressed to myself, and stamps to Kat in early August. Kat swapped the photos and sent them out in batches from mid-August to the end of August.
I loved seeing the different art everyone created and thinking about someone else receiving one of the postcards I had lovingly designed. Kudos and many thanks to Kat for organizing and doing all the work of swapping the postcards. For a look at how she organized the swap, see her post HERE.
Now it’s time for a blog hop to visit the other artists who participated in Kat’s Liberate Your Art Postcard Swap

Both the post cards you sent and received are just lovely. This is such a wonderful idea, to liberate our art…hope to see your work again next year.

I’m enjoying the blog hop as much as receiving the post cards! It’s wonderful to see what people created and what they received. Happy to see one of my cards in it’s new home!
