Transitory Grace

Japanese iris always strike me as delicate, evanescent, graceful flowers. I picked up two small bunches of them yesterday to enjoy and to photograph. So Many Birds!

Early this morning my bird feeders were filled with So Many Birds! Gracie was enthralled watching them. They flitted from the small nearby hydrangea tree to the feeder and back again. At one time I counted at least a dozen of them, all jockeying for a position at the feeders. Read more…
