Living Inside a Poem

Some days when I go out with my camera I feel as if I am Living Inside a Poem Today’s poem was about the color green and the yellow color of bright gold finches gathering at the feeder.   Invitation Oh do you have time to linger for just a little while out of your busy and very important day for the goldfinches that have gathered in a field of thistles for a musical battle, to see who can sing the highest note, or the lowest, or the most expressive of mirth, or the most tender? In Pursuit of Wonder

I cannot think of anything more worthwhile in life than to go out In Pursuit of Wonder Wonder is a feeling of curiosity and appreciation inspired by something beautiful, unfamiliar, or inexplicable. No matter how often I walk this path, I never tire of the sights and sounds. People hiking, bikers biking, ducks swimming, dogs playing, breeze blowing—a sensory wonderland of nature and humanity co-existing peacefully together. The news late yesterday afternoon of the Senate passing the healthcare and climate Read more…

But whenever I actually sit down to print something I am so glad that I did. I’ve had a few frames sitting around in my office that I intended to use for my photographs but I never seemed to prioritize Read more…
