Raining Leaves

This tree across the street from our house was covered with gold/yellow leaves yesterday morning. By noon it looked like this. For a short time it was Raining Leaves as the wind carried its leaves swiftly to the ground. The pond  behind our house was completely covered with a skim of ice in the early morning yesterday and today. It saddens me to see that the season is turning inexorably towards winter. Flower Photography

Brrr! It’s cold and blustery outside today. Time for some indoor Flower Photography I bought a bunch of white alstroemeria flowers last week. And I’ve been photographing them on and off for days. I picked up my camera to photograph the beauty of the new snow on the trees while I was still in my nightgown because I knew Read more…

I’ve collected a series of images and I’m working on printing them and creating a handmade book. My intention is to write and include some essays in the book as well. But the project is also quite scary. There is so much I don’t know yet about it. I’ve been working on creating the images for the series and now have over 50 of them to choose from. And I’ve ordered different photo Read more…
