It Looks Like November

My first thought this morning when I began my walk beside Medicine Lake was It Looks Like November. The colors were muted and dark, the sky gray, and the wind blustery. But the temperature was mild and as I walked along I found more and more colorful little scenes along the way. Some milkweed pods had burst and their seeds were clinging to the outside of the pod and on several nearby plants. Saying Hello To November

I am a little sad to say goodbye to October but here I am Saying Hello to November — and what a beautiful way to usher in this turning the corner towards winter month. Exploring Creative Options

I’m continuing my work on my book idea. This week I’ve been Exploring Creative Options in photo paper for my handmade book. All of the paper samples that I ordered arrived late last week. Here is just a small excerpt from the poem… … Joy is the flashing blue light passing by, not meant for me.   Joy is the good news, without new Read more…

The trails were covered with a few inches of fallen leaves. And I wanted to be careful not to trip on a hidden root or slip on an acorn underfoot. So I moved Read more…
