With temperatures in the 70’s Minneapolis natives are out sunning bathing, jogging in shorts and tank tops, telling one another “to be sure and get outside for some sun,” hanging clothes out to dry on the clothesline, and spending as much time as possible outdoors. Spring Photo Journal – Spring Arrives!

Quote of the day: “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.” ― Bil Keane Warm weather arrived in Minnesota today! Joggers in shorts took to the bike paths and streets. Bicyclists cycled, ducks swam, children played,  home owners began working on their lawns, and everyone rejoiced to see the snow recede even more. Today I finished printing and framing photos for my upcoming exhibit, “Timeless.”  And I breathed a sigh of relief. Weeks of effort are almost complete. Spring Photo Journal – Stunning Beauty

It was breathtakingly beautiful and stayed only briefly before the sun melted it.  Even though spring is slow to arrive, I am basking in beauty every day. This is what is and it is wonderful. Spring Photo Journal – The Wisdom of Trees

Quote of the day: “All our wisdom is stored in the trees.” — Santosh Kalwar Every morning when I meditate, I sit in a chair by the bedroom window that overlooks the pond. This morning before I settled in to the quiet I noticed the reflections of the trees in the open water of the pond.  Later this morning I went outside to make photographs of the beautiful reflections.
