This is my view as I head out for my walk this morning. The sun is shining!
Happy Sunny Saturday!
It’s been several days since we’ve seen the sun and the weather forecast predicts clouds moving in this afternoon again. So I donned my trusty mukluk boots and headed out on the park path near our house. It’s well packed down by many walkers by now.
The snow is sparkling like a million little suns.— Lama Willa Miller
And though snow covers the ground I still find little wild altars or dried leaves or twigs in the snow along the path.
The landscape has lost a bit of it’s snow globe appearance with many of the smaller tree branches once again bare of snow. But I still find snow clinging to larger branches, tree trunks, and evergreens.
As a contrast, here is a photo of peak winter wonderland on one of our neighborhood paths…
Snowflakes are one of nature’s most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together.— Vesta M. Kelly
We have lots of icicles hanging from the eaves of our house and in front of the house the juniper bushes have their own set of icicles.
It is the life of the crystal, the architect of the flake, the fire of the frost, the soul of the sunbeam. This crisp winter air is full of it.

Wishing you a beautiful weekend and a happy sunny Saturday, my friends.
May you walk in beauty.
