2022 Favorite Photos
down to a dozen favorites. It took me a long time of removing, then adding back photographs, and finally removing again before I felt satisfied with this set of images. They feel somewhat mundane to me.

But I find the mundane often wedded to the sacred and to wonder and joy. These images represent the way I see beauty. And they represent some of my favorite nature subjects—flowers, trees, trumpeter swans, and the cycles of nature.
Miracles… seem to me to rest not so much upon… healing power coming suddenly near us from afar but upon our perceptions being made finer, so that, for a moment, our eyes can see and our ears can hear what is there around us always.”
