Last night before I went to bed I saw the news that beloved teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh (or Thay as he was known to his students) had died at age 95.
I loved reading his teachings. What a long life he led through difficulties I can only imagine. Still he was a light to so many. So I thought I would share a few quotes this morning along with a few photographs.
A Tribute to Thay
Waking up this morning, I smile. Twenty-four brand new hours are before me. I vow to live fully in each moment and to look at all beings with eyes of compassion.”

In, out
Deep, slow
Calm, ease
Smile, release
Present moment, wonderful moment— Thich Nhat Hanh
Breathing in, I calm body and mind. Breathing out, I smile. Dwelling in the present moment I know this is the only moment. ― Being Peace
The present moment is filled with joy and happiness. If you are attentive, you will see it.
