A half moon peeks through the trees just after sunset.

I was going to take a break from writing blog posts this week. But I wanted to share a link to a beautiful recording of a Solstice gathering sponsored by the OnBeing project. It was called a “Midwinter Gathering.”

And in it Krista Tippett and Lucas Johnson of the OnBeing Project discuss the losses and learnings from 2020. I found it beautiful and moving and thought you might too.

Holding Space for What Is

You can view it HERE.  Note that at the beginning there is a long beautiful musical piece and you may wonder when the program will begin. Stay with it. Not only is the music beautiful, but the conversation is worth waiting for. It will help you plant yourself in what is, including the losses of this year and to step into the reality that 2021 is not going to magically end the losses and pain.

The photos in today’s post are from just after sunset yesterday and this morning before the rain started.

May you walk in beauty.
