Yesterday the skies were cloudy much of the day and in the afternoon, just as I was getting ready to take my walk it began raining. It was a light rain and didn’t last long. As soon as it ended I headed out on my walk. And there were delightful droplet covered leaves in my path wherever I walked.

And then the clouds magically moved away and I was also left with blue skies above and colorful tree leaves all around — more jewels to admire.

Today as I drove down back roads to run an errand, I took all of the streets that I know have colorful leaves this time of year. My heart sang to see the beauty that was there waiting for my admiration. And then I sang along with the radio, giggling with delight at
