December Reflections 2018

It’s Day 2 to in Susannah Conway’s December Reflections 2018 and the prompt today is Favorite 2018 Photo. This morning I took a walk down memory lane and chose this as my favorite for the year so far.

Which of my photographs is my favorite? The one I’m going to take tomorrow.

                                                  — Imogene Cunningham

This soft, detailed, graceful, droplet-covered, furled, black and white hibiscus flower was my top pick today, but mostly I agree with Imogene Cunningham. My favorite photo is always “the one I’m going to take tomorrow.”

“Nobody sees a flower – really – it is so small it takes time – we haven’t time – and to see takes time, like to have a friend takes time.”― Georgia O’Keeffe

May you walk in beauty.
