The #AprilLove2018 photo challenge word prompt today is “TODAY IS.” I intentionally did not think about this prompt ahead of time. I wanted to wake up, look at the prompt and then respond with whatever popped up for me.
Today is beautiful!
Despite being really really really tired of snow, when I looked out the windows this morning I couldn’t help but exclaim at the beauty of it all. It overcame all of my stories about what the weather should be on the ninth day of April. This is what it is and it is beautiful!
It was lovely to let go of judgments and preconceptions about how it should be and simply bask in the beauty of it all. No matter what the external weather is, it helps when my internal weather carries a sense of appreciation and gratitude.
Life is beautiful
Though there is much of concern in the world today and many injustices being done as I write this, here and around the world, life is beautiful.
May you walk in beauty today and always.
This is the top of the bookshelf in my office today. It too is beautiful to me.
