Quote of the day: “Everyone discusses my art and pretends to understand, as if it were necessary to understand, when it is simply necessary to love.” ― Claude Monet

Monet’s Garden at Overland Park Arboretum

While visiting my daughter’s family who live in the Kansas City area, we visited the Overland Park Arboretum. I was thrilled to find that they had a garden area that they called Monet’s garden.

It was beautiful! The season is further along there than in Minneapolis. It was such fun to see peonies, iris, oriental poppies, and wild phlox in full bloom there while here in Minneapolis the daffodils, tulips and magnolia trees are in full bloom.

Here are some photos from the Overland Park Conservatory.
