Quote of the day: “I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” ― L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables
We took a drive Sunday on the West River Road that runs beside the Mississippi River in Minneapolis. Every so often I asked Jon to pull over and park so that I could get out and make a few photos. Here is what a sunny Sunday in late October in Minneapolis looks like—lots of golden beauty, a peaceful river, and lots of people out running, biking, walking and enjoying the sunshine.
I’m also throwing in a photo taken in our back yard today and a couple of photos I shot with the iPhone when I was at the dentist’s office for a checkup last week. Next door to the dentist’s office is an auto repair shop and this beautiful old Hudson caught my eye. Add a little iPhone app magic and voila, a couple of weathered photos.
