Quote of the day: “Once you start to see through the myth of status, possessions, and unlimited consumption as a path to happiness, you’ll find that you have all kinds of freedom and time. It’s like a deal you can make with the universe: I’ll give up greed for freedom. Than you can start putting your time to good use.” — David Edwards, “Nothing to Lose But Our Illusions”

Warm days return

Kids playing in neighbor’s backyard

As warm days return to Minnesota. I smile as I listened to the kids in the neighborhood playing running games in the neighbor’s backyard in the evenings. Longer days mean more time outside for everyone.

Green is springing up and springing out everywhere. The trees still look more grey than green but that is quickly changing.

Ah…such days are fleeting and few. Soak them up. Breathe in the energy of the season. Take a walk. Listen to the ducks quack and the geese honk. Life is good.

I also helped hang my exhibit at First Universalist yesterday — I’m not sure how I feel about the photos now that I see them hanging. The space is so large, my photos so small… (see a few photos below)
