Quote of the day: “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.”

Spring Arrives

Ducks Flying Over Gray’s Bay, Lake Minnetonka

Warm weather arrived in Minnesota today! Joggers in shorts took to the bike paths and streets. Bicyclists cycled, ducks swam, children played,  home owners began working on their lawns, and everyone rejoiced to see the snow recede even more.

Today I finished printing and framing photos for my upcoming exhibit, “Timeless.”  And I breathed a sigh of relief. Weeks of effort are almost complete. I just need to name all of the photos (some have named themselves, so it seems, but others are shyer about announcing their true names), price them, and attach wires to the backs of some of the new frames.

Tomorrow I’m taking my camera to the Bella Luna boutique in Hopkins and making free photos of anyone who stops by to chat with me and signs up for my email list. Bella Luna has been selling my photo cards, framed photos, and photo blocks for almost a year now. I am very grateful for places like this where I can display and sell my art.
