Pond Art

Today is a gray day, colder than yesterday with the thermometer resting at 32 degrees this morning. It looks like it just wet outside on the street, but it’s another Minnesota shuffle day, as every so often what looks like a wet patch turns out to be ice.

The pond behind our house has become a work of art. The neighbors cleared the snow to create an ice rink this winter and now the designs of where they cleared look like a random work of art. The creek that feeds the pond now shows a flow of water through the snow. It looks like God’s brush stroke in a painting that changes every day.
