Quote of the day: “When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.” ― Rumi
Here in Minneapolis, fall turned cooler this week. One day we were happily basking in mid-seventy-degree weather, the next day the winds arrived along with much cooler air. Brrrr… It’s jacket weather again.
I went out in the wind and cool, cloudy weather, hat on my head, wearing a wind-proof jacket, with gloves on. Still it was glorious and magnificent. There is nothing like the sound of leaves blowing on the ground. And the sight of leaves raining down from the sky makes me think of all the blessings that rain down on all of us every day.
I love the geese flying overhead in crooked “V’s”. I love the colors and light. I love the smell of fall in the woods. I love cool, crisp mornings. I love the gathering ducks and coots on the lake, readying for their journey south. I love the last butterflies that linger on sunny days.
I love animal visitations in our lovely back yard like the Fox visitation this week.
So many things to be grateful for, so much beauty everywhere I look, my life is a river of joy. Here’s hoping that you find joy flowing in your life today and always.

What a sweet comment “my life is a river of joy”. I love the photo of the purple flower next to fall leaves.
