Quote of the day:  “May you experience each day as a sacred gift woven around the heart of wonder. ”

Today I decided to take a walk in the neighborhood, finding the gift of this place on this day. In the heat of the afternoon I headed down the hill to a shaded path by the pond. I found turtles sunning on a log, every shade of green imaginable, dragonfly visitations, many beautiful leaves and scenes, birds and butterflies.

What a gift! After a couple of days of aching and high pain, just taking a walk in the neighborhood felt so good. Feeling the sun and heat, appreciating the coolness of a slight breeze and the shade of trees, seeing beauty in the ordinary world around me.

Nature always brings me back to wonder and beauty. When was the last time you took a walk and noticed the wonders all around you?
