Quote of the day: “Let us dance in the sun, wearing wild flowers in our hair…”
― Susan Polis Schutz

Yellow Calla Lily

I don’t think I’ll be doing any dancing in the sun today with temperatures at or near 100 degrees. Whew — I’m feeling very grateful for being inside and having modern comforts like electricity and air conditioning. I was thinking of going out photographing last evening but it was still hot, hot, hot. So I’m playing indoors with cut flowers again today as well as hanging my exhibit at J Arthur’s Coffee Shop in Roseville this morning. With most of the United States involved in this heat wave, I’m wishing that anyone reading this finds ways to stay cool the next few days.

What lovely images, so romantic and serene 🙂 Sorry about the heat wave you and most of the country are experiencing — if I could do it, I’d send you all our weather here in Alaska — temps in the upper 50s/low 60s, breezy and overcast.
