Quote of the day:  “I believe the world is incomprehensibly beautiful – an endless prospect of magic and wonder.” —Ansel Adams

Richardson Nature Center Wall Art

Yesterday we visited the Richardson Nature Center at Hyland Park Reserve.  It’s one of many wonderful nature centers operated by the Three Rivers Park District in the Twin Cities area. It has been years since I’ve been there and clearly, the center has been re-furbished and re-done since I was last there. I was delighted with their 3-D wall nature wall art. It was bright, cheerful, and playful as well as educational. What an amazing space — absolutely beautiful!

I love the regional parks in the Twin Cities. No matter where you live, there are parks and nature trails and lakes galore! When my youngest daughter was a young teen, she volunteered at the Westwood Hills Nature Center in St. Louis Park. Every summer for more than 6 years, she learned about nature, helped with pre-school and early-elementary nature camps, and made new friends.
