Quote of the day: “Expect to have hope rekindled. Expect your prayers to be answered in wondrous ways. The dry seasons in life do not last. The spring rains will come again.” —Sarah Ban Breathnach

New leaves burst out in spring

Life bursting forth

Spring rains have come to Minnesota. I went out for a walk this morning and found everything bursting out with new life. Green is popping out everywhere and the birds, ducks and geese are singing, quacking, and honking up a storm! Life is amazing. Life is a miracle. Life is good.

Spring always reminds me that life is a series of cycles with ups and downs. Fortunately, as surely as the sun rises every morning, just when I feel I can’t bear any more during a down cycle, the wheel turns and hope is rekindled.

May you be happy. May you be healthy. May you be free from suffering. And may you encounter the amazement, miracles, and goodness of life today.
