I was in Two Harbors last weekend for another great workshop led by John Gregor of Coldsnap Photography. This is the third workshop of John’s that I have attended. It was called ‘The Fine Art Print.’ Wow! I can’t believe how much I learned in two and a half days! I came home with some beautiful prints and I learned so much about creating Fine Art Prints. There were only four of us at the workshop so we all had plenty of one-on-one time with John and he took lots of time to answer questions along with lots of practice prints and photoshop tweaking. I am so jazzed by everything I learned. And as always, I loved the time in Northern Minnesota and out in the woods and by Lake Superior.
I also took some time to get out to Gooseberry Falls State Park and to a couple of other of my favorite Lake Superior locations in the area. It was cold – there was already some snow on the ground and more snow arrived on Friday, but well worth the cold fingers and toes to get out and enjoy the lake and woods.
Here are a few of my photos from Gooseberry Falls last weekend. The light was that spectacular golden light before sunset. Enjoy!
