Here we are on the last day of July already! This month I have been a little obsessed with the sky (as you’ve probably noticed from the photographs I have posted). The skies have been just gorgeous and I can’t stop looking at them. Many days the sky is studded with puffy white clouds floating by without a care in the world. On other days it’s clear blue, there is not a cloud to be seen. And then there are days when gray clouds cover the sky. It doesn’t matter how the skies look, I am happy…

Beneath the Sky

It is such a gift to spend so much time outdoors beneath the sky.

The contrast between this summer and last summer when I was recovering from hip replacement surgery couldn’t be greater. As we live through the pandemic and societal unrest of 2020 I find my deepest consolation spending time in nature, appreciating its beauty, and focusing on the present moment.

July was such a lovely month that I decided to put together some of my favorite photos from the month combined with an Ann Reed song and create a little video. It’s called Beneath the Sky. I hope you enjoy it.

May you walk in beauty.

Note for blog subscribers: I have no idea whether the included video will play from your email of the post. You may need to go to my website to see and hear it.
