Butterfly Bliss

African Blue-banded Butterfly

Today I spent the morning at the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory Blooming Butterfly exhibit.

All I can say is, WOW!

Butterfly Bliss

What a blissful morning.

If you haven’t yet been there, go soon. It’s only open through September 6. To learn more about the exhibit click HERE.

There are many beautiful butterflies and moths of all sizes, shapes, and colors and it’s quite amazing seeing them flutter all around you.

“Butterflies are not insects,’ Captain John Sterling said soberly. ‘They are self-propelled flowers.”
Robert A. Heinlein, The Cat Who Walks Through Walls

If you’re lucky one or two butterflies will decide to land on you and ride around on you for awhile. I had one on my sleeve and one on my butt (or so others around me told me).

May you walk in beauty (and experience butterfly bliss)…
