Hawaii Beach Big Waves

“Your sacred space is where you can find yourself over and over again.”

Joseph Campbell

A photo from my Hawaii walk-about in winter 2012-2013. This was one of my favorite spots on the Big Island. The big ocean waves were always magnificent and the water almost always looked deep blue and turquoise. With the wind and sea spray in my face, sound of the waves crashing, and beauty all around, it felt like sacred space.

Lead us from the Unreal to the Real
Lead us from darkness to Light
Lead us from the fear of Death, to Knowledge of Immortality
Let there be Peace, Peace, Peace.

— Upanishads
