Quote of the day:  “The camera encourages us to look harder, past the things we take for granted, and in so doing, we learn to see things differently.” — David duChemin

Thank You!

Thank You!

I started a new class this week on iPhone photography. It’s called The Art of iPhoneography Self-Portraiture with Susan Tuttle.

Although I wasn’t thrilled about the self-portraiture aspect of the class, I couldn’t wait to get started because I was so blown away by some of her self-portraits (see some of her work HERE).  Primarily I was looking for inspiration on taking my photos and portraits into a new level of creativity.

I’ve been totally immersed in playing with my iPhone in the best way since I started this class! It is such fun trying out the new apps and creating my own art with them.

As I become more comfortable with the applications and practice more I’ll share what I’m learning and some tips for improving your phone photography.

Here are a few of my first creations –
