Autumn

Lone Feather Nestled in Fallen Leaves

The colors of autumn arrive and then fade so quickly. Wherever I am, I feel the need to soak up all the beauty and color and save it to nurture me during the coming winter. While spring always brings me a sense of expansion and promise, fall always brings bittersweet feelings—a treasuring of each day’s beauty and wonder and, at the same time, a sense of loss.

Today I’m sharing some of my favorite iPhone fall photos from my daily walks in my neighborhood—an Ode to Autumn. Enjoy!

So fun to look at your beautiful fall photos. We have what we call “fall” in Southern California but nothing like this. Thanks for sharing and making me nostalgic about living back East.
