Quote of the day:   “Every life is braided with luminous moments.” –  John O-Donohue

"Painterly" water lilies outside Como Park Conservatory

I spent the morning photographing at the Como Park Conservatory and Japanese Garden – “…from joy to joy to joy!”  One of my favorite places to go!

This poem by Li-Young Lee from “Blossoms” expresses how it felt to be there today:

O, to take what we love inside,
to carry within us an orchard, to eat
not only the skin, but the shade,
not only the sugar, but the days, to hold
the fruit in our hands, adore it…

There are days we live…
from joy
to joy to joy, from wing to wing,
from blossom to blossom to
impossible blossom, to sweet impossible blossom.

Here are some of the photos from today’s adventure.

Beautiful shots. I generally shoot “wild” nature and stay away from places like this. I may need to reconsider…

Thanks Mike. I like to shoot both “wild” and places like this. They both have their own rewards.
